VietJetAir organized agent conference in Thailand

(26 April, 2013) – At a groundbreaking conference in Bangkok more than 100 sales agents from Thailand were invited to "take off" with VietJetAir – Vietnam's fastest growing airline, which is now flying direct from Ho Chi Minh City to the Thai capital. The service from Hanoi to Bangkok will be launched in June.

The conference, entitled Hand in Hand – Flying Together, aims to help the pagoda country forge even closer links with Vietnam and other regional destinations. 22,000 visitors celebrate Vietnam Beach Vacations 2013 in Danang with VietJetAir

VietJetAir recently had the pleasure of sponsoring the first Vietnam Beach Vacations, a part of Danang International Fireworks Competition 2013, in Danang on April 27-28 April, 2013. The event attracted an audience of 22,000 with highlights including a hip hop dance competition and beach music festival.

VietJetAir to become first Vietnamese airline with Sharklet-equipped A320 aircraft

(Ho Chi Minh City, April 22 2013) – VietJetAir today signed an agreement with AWAS, one of the world's leading aircraft leasing companies, to lease three brand-new Sharklet-equipped A320 aircraft. The move will make VietJetAir the first airline in Vietnam to operate this new fuel-saving wing tip device on an aircraft.



Launched in 2012, Sharklets are made from light-weight composites and are 2.4 meters tall. Developed as an option for newly-built A320 aircraft, they allow operators to reduce fuel emissions by up to four percent over longer sectors and reduce approximately 1,000 tons of CO2 emissions per aircraft per year. Sharklets offer operators the flexibility of either adding a range of 100 nautical miles or an increased payload capability of up to 450 kilograms. Read more

Fly on VietJetAir’s new route from Ho Chi Minh City to Buon Me Thuot for just VND390,000
